Pensioners' benefits/entitlements

Federal retirees who have made contributions to their respective superannuation plan while employed will receive their pension benefits (certain conditions may apply) under one of the following Superannuation Acts:

  • Public Service Superannuation Act (PSSA)
  • Canadian Forces Superannuation Act (CFSA)
  • Royal Canadian Mounted Police Superannuation Act (RCMPSA)
  • Judges Act

In addition federal retirees are also eligible (certain conditions may apply) to receive retirement health and dental coverage under the following plans:
