Join the FSNA Team

Members who get involved as volunteers are central to the achievement of our Mission Statement.  Members can volunteer with their local branch to develop, implement and deliver services to assist needs of federal retirees.

Here are some of the many volunteer opportunities available to our members (these may vary by branch):

  • Branch Operations – get involved with the operations of your branch including: administration, finance, database management and communications
  • Advocacy – help FSNA advocate on behalf of our entire membership to protect and enhance the rights and benefits of retired federal employees
  • Marketing and Recruitment – contribute to planning local and/or national promotional events to grow our membership and increase our awareness
  • Branch Meetings and Functions – assist in the planning of branch meetings, various outings and activities to allow members to get together on an regular basis
  • Board of Directors/Committees – provide leadership at the branch and national level of FSNA
