Method of payment
Option 1: Dues deducted at source
Members can have monthly membership dues deducted directly from their superannuation payments by signing a form authorizing Public Works and Government Services Canada to deduct their dues from their pension cheque. Participation in deduction of dues at source is voluntary and can be revoked at any time by notifying the FSNA National Office.
Note: This method of payment is not applicable to RCMP survivor allowances, judges' pensions, judges' survivor allowances, nor to associate memberships.
Option 2: By Cheque
Membership dues are based on a calendar year ending December 31st. Members who wish to pay by cheque rather than have their dues deducted at source can make a cheque payable to FSNA. Annual membership dues are $34.20 for single memberships, $44.40 for double memberships, or $15 for associate memberships.
Any member whose dues are in arrears in excess of three months may, after due notice, be dropped from the rolls.
